Of course I had my camera set up on crappy mode so the vid isnt really clear. So the first start up yesterday went well. I actually have it dialed in better today already. I found all these little metal shavings sitting on my electrics box after this. I freaked out thinking It was my pistons or I was somehow ruining the motor. It turned out to be shavings from when I tapped into the frame to mount the gas tank. The were just vibrating and falling there.

My only running bike right now is this clean little '72 - yeah it's mostly stock- but it runs hard and looks damn good in my opinion! As far as non-stock parts I've got a 16" rear wheel, bullet turn-signals, K&N filters, a nos drag-spec seat, and a set of crossover 4-2 pipes on it. I kinda dig it like it is- I think I'm gonna leave this one alone (at least for the summer)- but fear not-I've got 2 more CB's in the basement in the process of getting...

Im calling it Frankenstein due to the mixed nature of the parts used and the fact that I scavenged for parts off dead bikes on this first run I took it on.

I finally got the ol' girl on the road after much work through the winter. This bike was sitting in the corner of an old garage for 30 years and I bought it from the original builders old lady for $200. Im still working some bugs out of it, but for the most part its road worthy. C&G frame, Amen coffin tank, Santee electrical box and oil bag, Kool fins, oil pressure gauge, finned engine covers, unknown twisted springer, powdercoated frame, recovered seat, tank and fender, slash cut...

C&G frame, Paucho mustang tank, 18 in the back, 21 in the front(both not pictured), octagon oil bag, sweet ass e-box, dual baker head lamps and a tombstone tail light. Picked it up as a basket case for $500 bucks. Totally complete. YEAH BABY!!!

Chopperheads with tools. About 6 weeks ago I was in the HC.com chatroom with streetracer75 and I mentioned that I had a motor laying on the floor in the garage and nothing to do with it. He said he had a line on a frame and frontend and other misc. parts and that if I wanted to get a bike together we could get all the parts to his place in Missouri and have a chopper build off type party. Well, that snowballed into one of the greatest get togethers I have ever had the pleasure of being a part...

I needed another project like a hole in the head, but I found this in a shed two weeks ago when I went to pick up a tractor part for my Farmall H from an old farmer about ten miles outside of town. The old guy said he took it in trade back in the 70's and rode it only once. It scared the crap out of him, so he just shoved it in a shed and covered it up. It has a rigid Amen frame and an Amen oil tank -- and what appears to be mostly a Denvers springer, although the rockers...
