        <![CDATA[ so I thought I had to tear the head off to clean an oil passage, turns out not.......


anyway the motor only has about 2,500 miles on it since the ground up stock rebuild........I thought the head gasket was seeping a little, so I figured I&#39;d
just go ahead and retorque the nuts and bolts while I had the cover off.


I&#39;m kinda thinkin what I should have done was loosen the nuts to break the hold on the washers, then retorque to spec.

but the way I see it when it comes to the stretch factor...the bolts would`nt become soft, and just keep stretching...maybe after years and years of being
under torque, they may have stretched a tad.., but it seams as though, if you did a recent torque on um..they`d be just as tight as they should be..

if it does`nt seam to leak 71, I`d call it good and run er..

			<description><![CDATA[ make sure the rubber pucks are in good shape. There are 6 of them......If they leak they will make a mess.

Also make sure the rubber oil rings are under the cam towers..... there are 2 under each one. The 2 inner ones should have the restrictors also. Then there are
the 2 rubber o-rings under the jugs in the back. Oh yea and the 2 oil o-rings between the cylinders and head. Those are the passage for oil to the top end. ]]></description>
