Hey, y'all -- there's a cheap bike in my neck of the woods that one of you may be interested in. I was going to buy it, but I need another project
like a hole in the head. The bike is advertised in our local John Deere Community Swap Sheet. It is a 1978 Honda 750 with about 20,000 miles. The guy wants
$650 for it, but I think it can be had for less. It has a windjammer fairing complete with radio. It also has a huge king and queen seat. The bike runs fine
and seems to be in pretty good mechanical shape. The tank doesn't have any dents, and I believe it even has the original pipes. However, with that
fairing and the king/queen seat, the damn thing looks like a parade float. Frankly, I'd get rid of all the crap on it and chop it or part it out -- but
that's just me. The phone number of the guy who has it (in Waverly, Iowa, which is ten minutes north of me) is as follows: (319) 269-9388. If any of you
buy it, I'd be willing to go up and get it and store it at my house here in Cedar Falls for a month so if you want until you could get it. If you want to
e-mail me about this, please use this address for the next week: english.conference@uni.edu Ride on! Jeff (Banzai7)
