SO, feederpig and I have been scratching our heads for more than a year on this one. We figure MI is well represented on the board and we have some really nice riding to be done in our state during the "2 weeks" of nice weather we get every year. So why not have an official MI meet? There may even be a few fellas like Landman than live as close to the event as some MI guys that may have interest. This would also be extremely close for WI and MN guys, especially if they use the ferry as it dumps them off right near the event.
Not to mention there is an event that now is pretty large and growing that could easily be used as a meet place and time. BIKE TIME over in Muskegon occurs later in the summer and does not conflict with the other events we like to attend. It is also an event most of us in MI could make without taking extra time off work. So how about it? Apoc is going to look into a group discount camping rate for us to get things started.

I'll put the link to the website here with the details. Before we go any further, I'd like to see who may attend. We do need a GOTF member to make it official so if we have plenty of interest, I'll start a campaign for making it official.
I would have no problem being the event coordinator every year should interest arise. It could be REALLY cool.
