Dude, sounds like fun... I'm in. Greenville to Muskegon, nice ride on the back roads, only about 70 miles, might even make it on 1 tank of gas. Camping for

Yep, Apoc is working a camping deal for us. He lives in Muskegon.
There is another guy in Greenville, oldmanhonda. You should give him a shout since yall are in the same city. There are two regulars over by me, daddyschatz in Bay City with me and feederpig in Mt. Pleasant. We will all be there as well.

Glad there is interest in a northern midwest meet. Sure will be nice to meet the fellas on the other side of the pond. We're close to yall without being close. Damn water. When Apoc has more info on the camping area and its facilities we'll plan food and other sheeeeet. We'll most certainly do a role call in May when people have a better idea whether the date will work for their own schedules. I'll ask Chuck and Tommy if their is a way to send a batch p.m. notice to all the guys in the midwest registered on the site. There are a few guys that are not real regular that may be interested. Getting them to an event may prompt them to be more visible on the board again.

i found a place that will rent us spaces for 20 a nite it is right downtown it doesnt have electric but has showers she is willing to guarantee up to 25 sites
but we gonna need to put down the first nite for each site we want up front,,if that is a no go then there are other options farther out of town let me

How many people can fit in one camp site? I am sure it would be easy to raise $60 among many people. The shower option sure it nice as well. Can we barbecue? Is there a pit in each site? Did she indicate the measurement of each site? Is there running water in each site? Flush toilets? Sorry, I am being a P.I.A. Just wondering if its a good deal.

I haven't been to Michigan since the early 70's.... I was in the Detroit are for a short time ....
I'm gonna try and make this .. but, I never know .. day to day ... I's really wanna meet ya'll... I wish Pontiac was closer to Muskegon.. I'd like to see Finch.. but that looks like bit more in the wrong direction..lololol.. As it gets closer .. I'll check on the motels in Muskeegon.... Any of you guys talk to ssminno ..?? Or is he over by Detroit more...??

The only thing is.... thats 6 hours of driving time... plus a little time with him..(If he's even there..) would take care of a whole day actually... But .. possibly I could stay an extra day too .. We'll see what happens .. Number 1 issue is getting my raggety-ass to Muskegon first... I appreciate it John..

Man .. I haven't seen Ron for about 12 or 15 years now .. when I ran into him at Sturgis... A little over 25 years ago, a local shop in Dallas put on a huge Motorcycle Show .. with pretty hefty prizes to be had.. I think it had over 300 bikes in it...Bikes from California.. Massachusetts, New York .. From all over the country.. They hired Arlen, Perewitz, Donnie Smith, Finch and myself to do the judging with the help of some locals.. .. ( man, you couldn't get me down offa that cloud .... being included in that grouip..) lololol.. I remember Custom Bike did a feature on that show and the article mentioned that they had "flown in luminaries the likes of Arlen, Finch, yaddy.. yaddy .. yaddy.." and then my name ...... Man I was pumped up for a bit there..lololol... (I had to look in a Funk and Wagnel to see just what a 'luminary' was ...) Then the locals helped us and drive us around in golf cart type thingys ... Thats a lot of bikes to judge in one night basically..Plus we all had to bring feature bikes as well .. and set them up ..A couple of us had turntables and all .. so it setup took some time .. then into judging ..(I was much younger then..lolol) At the judges meeting.. they were assigning classes and categories ... Of course .. the other guys jumped on the Big Twin, Sportster, and Open classes.. Then it came to the Asian stuff.. The Promoter looked at me automatically and said "Tommy ??"... But of course .. I knew why I was there ..lololol.. But there needed to be another major judge.... and all were quiet for a bit.. Then.. I could barely hear Finch from behind me say .."I'll do those with Summers... and then maybe he can help me with the Europeans too." .. What a guy .. Man .. Finch volunteered to help me .. and .. he even knew who I was.. PHUCK.. you couldn't me offa that cloud for weeks.. lololol... If any of you get near his place any time .. you should make the effort to at least meet him ... He's a very, very talented builder and an artist ...in his own right.... Everything he touches is ..off the hook..... He was doing theme bikes way before Paul Sr. ever rode a bke... and before Pauly Jr.was even a twinkle in Sr's eyes ....lololol.. He was doing his thing before Ness even had a shop ... He was always a really quiet, unassuming, and pretty humble guy... He definatly has, and always has had my respect .... Sorry for dragging this out .. but I had to tell you guys how kool Finch really is,...

He turns up all over Detroit for little shows. I have spoken to him many times. He even was part of the Bay City Bike Bash before the city screwed that event.
He is really down to earth.
Boy, I cant believe there is the possibility of having a luminary at the very first MIHCM!
I was gonna invite Arlen, but phuck him now.
