Ride through Northern Cal at nite when it's cooler.From Redding to Sacramento has been running 108+ during the day and from about Corning down,you got rice
paddies that run the humidity up to about 110%.But pack something warm to wear,the Sierras can get chilly at nite once the sun goes
down..................

way south for a rest, to clean up, etc...
