hey they dont these people check the vins !!!!! here this one will get a title !!!!!! http://www.its-titles.com/index.htm it cost me 140 bucks for a title with plates and registration

Yup! They lowered the price cuz a lot of states (like TEXAS) now charge a fee for registering an out-of-state vehicle. Still the best way to go... I've
used ITS for many m00ns now.

no they just asked for a bill of sale a power of atourney a copy of drivers liscenes and a copy of proof of insurance took 3 weeks to get a set of tags and
registration in my name !!!!!!!!!

Ive got a cyclex frame with mso and a 76 motor i got with a bill of sale.I called these guys and they want to reg. by the motor vin#, but i think some one has
its frame registered
with a diferent motor. I dont know if this would cous a conflict? In NY there nazi's about this shit. |

ny is a frame number state as far as i know. This is gonna suck, all that ive read sias i need mso for frame tittle for motor aprovale through albany (DMV head quarters) state troopers inspection send info back to Albany for vin# issuing then local dmv for title insure regesture and last to state aproved garage for state inspection they dont make it easy on a brother in new york. I guess i was just hoping for a easyer way... lol would apresiate any tips or advise,thanx |

ya the motor has a vin# on it , if thats what you mean.
but, like i was sayin before. i dont know if some one has the frame registered with that # some place. I bought the motor from a guy who sold the frame to some one else. i dont know if thers a way to check if this # is presently regestured.

Ive built 2 and i never knew that, both rats and never with frame and motor together. So if the numbers are different, if this place titles by motor than maybe
i can use that title as a jump of point for ny reg. thanx

The older bikes had no numbers on the frames they used the motor numbers.. the use of frame number started in the 70's. The pre-70 HD's and BSA's
and Triumphs had motor numbers only . I have a pre-70 Triumph in my garage the CHP use to stamp the frames for you before DMV gave out the little numbers
plate for the down tube ..
