I built this one while I was working for a custom bike shop in Illinois, a lot of the parts were take offs from bikes that I had worked on there.
After having this one for awhile, I decided to go a different route entirely and ended up selling most of the bike to ShagNas, who's in the process of rebuilding it to suit him.
08-24-09 After a question from another site member, I decided to update the info here a bit.
74 CB750 Four - Rebored to 836cc - CycleKate is now the proud owner of this engine.
Amen Saviour Frame - scored from local pawn shop
Girder Front - scored from local pawn shop
Rear - 150/70B18 Avon Venom mounted on a Harley rim setup, with a modified late model HD rear caliper, as I recall it came off a HD with a swing arm, I cut & ground most of that mount away and ran a link bar from the frame to it.
19" Front with drum spool brake - given to me by a good friend (V-Twin MFG, still carries this style rim in 19" and 21", it's not a great brake, but it does make stopping on a hill a lot nicer.)
Late Model Sporty fuel tank
Paint by Krylon
Exhaust pipes - A set of duals that I had bought, after putting the headers on, I decided that they looked great like that so I found a set of baffles that fit and installed them.
Rear fender - a chopped up fender off a Dyna that had been rear-ended
Seat - one I found in the pile that looked good
Oil tank/electric box - made it myself from a piece of 4" semi-truck exhaust pipe.
The pics were taken at it's first outing, I took it for it's maiden run the night before and then rode it to a small show the shop was having the next day.
Here's a link to photobucket with more pics of it
Chopper Pics
A nice closeup of the forward controls after I reworked them to a standard setup, I had originaly set the bike up with a jockey and suicide clutch setup.
Forward Controls
It was a fun bike to ride, but I built it for the riding conditions in Aurora, IL and it's way different here in Tulsa, OK.
