anyone know where i can get a good DOT approved half helmet that wont make my head look three times its normal size?? i want one thats as small as possible and
streamlined. bought one last year on ebay and its freakishly huge on top of my head.

I don't think this is a hyjack... Does anybody know of someone making the old 70's style 3/4 helmets? The kind you could snap a flat or bubble face

www.biltwellinc.com has them, too (non-DOT as are the avenger ones).
i've got this one from Z1R which is DOT compliant. n

Leatherup.com has some very good helmets. Same brands and styles you find else where for double the money. I bought one and thought it made my head look big
also. So I bought one somewhere else for double the money; which looked small on the guys head in the picture. But it was the same thing. I sent it back &
went to a Harley shop and a couple of local shops; but all the helmets fit and looked the same. I ended up buying 2 from leather up for $40 each, compared it
with my partners' $110 helmet and guess what? They were the same helmets made by Outlaw.
The point is if you have a head like the monster from alians, there is no help for you. So just save yourself some money!!! |
