Bracket for Cycle X carbs |
Lead | |
|
Has anybody come up with a bracket to support the carb system from cycle X. Think I got them dialed in but they want to keep sagging and I dont want to have a
problem. Plus they bounce up and down a bit.
Thanks Joe T |

I used a heavy wire stainless from a 5 gallon paint bucket shape like a U run it over the frame then down to each carb. into the rear slot bending a little tap
so they stay in the slot.
life is but a single grain of sand in the hour glass of time

I use the boots that aim the carbs straight back. I took a piece of allthread and slipped it inside some polished alum tube.Bolted this to the open end slots
in the carbs and then hung a J hook (polished) from the rear tank mount..no movement at all..

Where did you get the curved rubbers to make the carbs run straight back? Thanks Bill

Back in 2004 when i bought em..Ken included them in the kit. they were used for bikes that had a high front end..so you could level them out..i turned em
sideways..call Ken..he might have some left..

Hey guys I haven't been around for a while but with summer coming I started thinking about my bike and thought I'd check in. In the picture there is a
bracket on the seat that bolts to the tab on the frame and then the rod passes through the carbs and bolts on to each end. It's very solid and easy.
Now the wiring on the other hand............... http://www.flickr.com/photos/12817213@N06/1410847107/ Sean |
