Right now he is making me a raked triple tree for a particular application with my existing parts, but he is curious about Honda 750 billet triples? raked trees? changeable stems for??? In this faltering economy everyone is looking to adjust their income with what they know, and this guy does know his stuff. Currently they are producing triple trees for perfomance machines, particularly Ducati's and in the winter they make performance parts for snowmobiles, fast snowmobiles, 400+ hp snowmobiles. Curious to know if a list of needed parts can be made, and assuming more than one person would have an interest. They are looking to create parts that are not currently available, mostly, that can be done in production runs. What comes to my mind right off are disk brake pietons in Stainless Steel, how many versions do we have out there, and would there be an interest? If anyone has cleaned and rebuilt every few years, they know how rusty the real steel can be, and pits create problems. anyone care to add? H.C.C.M.F. Re-grinding stock cams to hi-perf specs could possibly save all of us a few bucks. With the high price of stainless how about plastic based brake pistons? The Cafe guys would simply drool over super light weight pistons! Just a couple of thoughts.

Seems like I see them on ebay all the time, but the Holy Grail of finned covers, the rocker cover, I suppose not. might be athought there , but in a production run, is it feasible, need to make alot of parts to make it worth while. the axle spacer stock, sounds doable, rather simple run a detail in a pieces of drilled stock, how long would be good? throw some more detail to that idea? how far apart on the ribs? what is the most often used spacer size? I know depends on width at the mount, but take a shot. Did I mention anodizing is a possibility? what color? H.C.C.M.F. Local 6978

For instance, keep in mind he is a machinist, and fairly new to CB750's, so unless you have a part drawing or picture, he has no idea what an RC distributor set up looks like. and how many do you think would sell in a production run? Not that he can't help you, I am certain he can, but in a different mode. The top tree's for 39mm tubes? Is teh offset and spacing different from 750's? Get me some dimensions, or better yet and old part, we are looking at the 750 top trees now, but in similar style to that top tree on my 2003 1100 Shadow Front end, which we are modifying to have a 5 deg rake. a smooth billet piece, drilled for risers. The spin on oil filters would be an adapter, correct? aren't those currently available? nobody wants to re-invent the wheel, or cut into somebody else's pie. But if you think they will work on a production mode, of say 100 parts or more, sketch it up, give me and idea of what you want to see. and buy! numbers is what lowers a price, volume!! H.C.C.M.F.
