Axle looks to be about 3/4. Runs about 6 1/8 hub width.

put some pics in my profile there in the spooly folder. need to learn how to do the link thing. anyhow the right side has some rust. left side is good
.probably 30 years old not perfect. spokes have a little surface rust but should come off. my axle appears to be a 1/2in. the distance between forks is about
6&1/2in. hub 3&1/8th in. tire is 3.00 s 19. dry-rotted

that is a nice looking wheel, but i think i will stay with a regular 40 spoke so it will match my back wheel. thanks for the reply.
