I just saw that storms tore through again , lots of people hurt , and some killed . Too damn many . Hope Our folks are ok ???????????????

once again, CLOSE, but no cigar. i hope this is one lucky streak i maintain for awhile. that one last week damn near took a city a few miles from me off the

We had some straight line winds during the night I'm guessing. A few trees down, including the old crabapple tree
next to the driveway. Nothing serious though.
At least the flag is still there, and there's been one flying there since 911.
It was Honda first, all through the middle, and if I have my way, till the end as well.
Most people say what they'll do. Very few actually do what they say. |

I'm glad we changed our direction for our ride That storm went either right over where we were going or close to it missed out on a nice ride but stayed dry

Yup , I miss it by about 2100 miles . I was headed back from Blooming Praire toward Austin once , in a hell of a storm , the hail kept gettin bigger and bigger
to where I was afraid it would take out my windshield . Here's the fun part , had 2 five year old kids in the blazer w/ me . I got a real bad feelin , had
the kids climb in the back and get on the floorboard . Did a completely blind and sliding 180 on 218 and ran for some friends house . OK , kids in the basement
, now check to find out if I hadn't spun that U turn I would have driven straight into a tornado about 1/2 a mile wide . Still scares the shit outta me to
think about it . Hoping and praying all our people will be ok .

A couple years ago before my divorce. I lived in Plymouth IL. and a tornado took the roof off the neighbors barn and picked up one end of my house and spun it
around and set it back down facing east instead of north. Didn't even break a window. Trouble is the dog and I were both inside watching TV. Man what a
ride that was.
