found this thread and it makes me wonder about
mine...I am planning on running a single 175 caliper and 11" disc on my rear with a STAR master cylinder...no front. will this be better than the stock
honda rear drum at least? Ive run a single rear drum for years now, never had too many issues, but there were times I wished for better...I dont need
something that I can lock and grind to a halt in 50ft, but something better than the honda drum would be nice.
yes I know the mini-discs with the 150 caliper are worthless for stopping...but what about the larger 11" discs and bigger 175 caliper.
I also spoke with tolomatic about the different pads...hard/soft. they explained that the hard pads and red mineral fluid were specifically for drag racing, bikes and street cars needed the automotive fluid and soft pads. This makes me wonder how many people who think they suck were running hard pads.
