Hey guys, I got a couple XL175 front hubs and I was thinking of trying an experiment.
My plan is to tig the spoke holes shut and re-drill the hub for a forty spoke wheel instead
of their stock 36 hole configuration. My thinking is to drill a hole every 18 degrees on one side
which would total 20 and to offset 9 deg on the second side and repeat the every 18 degrees.
I was thinking of printing the proper size degree wheels on sticky backed paper and sticking them to the hub.
Clamping an axle at the proper angle to a drill press so that I could just roll the hub from one index point to the next and
just keep on a drilling.
All opinions and ideas are greatly welcomed. Thanks in advance.
