A couple more questions:
The stuck pistons are taken care of, but before I put the engine back in the bike, it would probably be a good idea to clean the carbs. Under the HOW DO I CLEAN THE CARBS title in the FAQ document, the website doesn't exist anymore.
So how do I do it?
One other question: When I put the clutch lifter plate back on, the Clymer manual said to tighten the screws to 6-8lbs. But my torque wrench didn't click until the plate was seated down as far as it would go. I expected it to stop somewhere before that so when the clutch was engaged, that plate would compress in.
Was this correct?
